Peerspace

Great experience with peerspace and one specifc venue holder (Alexis). While we had first selected some venues within Paris (where we live), Peerspace informed us that the owners were not responsive and went as far as delete their ads. They offered us a small discount for the disappointing new. we then went on searching for alternatives, which we found. Peerspace was very responsive to answer all questions, and so was the owner himself. we had a pre-visit and then held my daughter's 18th b-day there. it went great. Thanks !

We rented a space to host our family on Thanksgiving. Communication up front was good and it wasn't until we paid and confirmed that things went downhill. Communication deteriorated and the rep made me feel like I was bothering her for asking questions. Went to see the space in person two days before and the furniture they had in the photos had been completely changed which allowed for less seating than we expected. We asked for a partial refund for the inconvenience which was denied, they said they're allowed to change and remove furniture anytime, wrong! You're allowed to change furniture for something comparable as in color or something else simple, not take away seating that would've accommodated 8 people to be able to sit and replace it with a pool table without communicating that to us. Had we not asked to see the space in advance we would've showed up not knowing. They gave us a # code for entry (which I had to ask for multiple times) and when we arrived to the space, the doors would not open and there was no one available to help us resolve the problem either. I even called the building maintenance hotline because Peerspace was not responding and got no help from the actual building staff who was on call for emergencies. Thankfully a woman who lived in the apartment building was walking by and we explained our situation and she was nice enough to open the door using her code or we would have been screwed. I will never use Peerspace ever again and I will make sure everyone I know doesn't either. The worst!

We used Peerspace to find a venue for our vision board party. We found the perfect location that required minimal setup so we could focus on putting on a quality event. Our guests loved the fun mural and we were able to get great pics. The host was responsive and super friendly. We'll definitely use Peerspace for future gatherings for our group. Our only note is we wish there was a way to get hosts to respond more quickly to inquiries about their space. We had no issues with this venue but a couple others we've reached out to were slow to respond.

Property managers and owners, avoid listing here! I've tried numerous times to create and verify a new profile, so I could rent spaces. Nothing works, I can not even upload a photo, without error messages. Will not progress to verifying my email, without the previous steps. Everything ends in error messages. I've tried on different browsers over several months. I wrote in to customer service... They wrote back I need to create my full profile, then I won't get error messages anymore and can contact the space owners. SMH! If you have a space listed, and are wondering why it's not getting rented out regularly... It's because the website is broken, and the customer service reps tell your potential customers the issue is they're idiots. I suggest you list on a site that works.

Peerspace has a great variety of spaces available to rent for all sorts of events you are planning. I planned a birthday party and found a location almost immediately and booked within a few days of finding it. The host was quick to respond. Very friendly and the place was a great find for a party. I am so thankful I found peerspace because I wasn't ready to pay close to a thousand dollars to rent a room from the rec center. Saved me so much time, money and headaches.
